Split Second Films is an independent production company that specialises in the creation of motion pictures intended for international theatrical release.

The company develops its own content and also looks to co-produce on outside projects maintaining a busy slate of feature films which are targeted at international audiences developed in collaboration with co-producers and talent from across Europe and Canada.
Projects in active development fall in the genres of comedy/drama, psychological horror, road film and ‘coming-of-age’.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR Patrick Whittaker is an award winning writer and director. His body of writing work spans novels, stage plays, screenplays and poetry. He has had a number of screenplays optioned or commissioned by other production companies. His directing work encompasses narrative and experimental short films, some of which he has also produced and edited.
COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR Elaine Curtin is an accomplished marketing and PR executive in a range of industries which include publishing, cycling, exhibition management, transport and leisure retail.
